Sniping has become a key primitive in DeFi. Every day, hundreds of tokens are launched and sniped. However, building a sniping service is not easy and requires substantial infrastructure and engineering. Fortunately, Merkle excels at MEV and scalable infrastructure.

The current sniping market on Ethereum is dominated by BananaGun, a service that has been around for a while and has many users. They are winning because they bundle sniping for all their customers, creating a strong network effect. Until now, it has been nearly impossible for other bots to compete.
