Sniping has become a primitive in DeFi, everyday hundreds of tokens are launched and sniped. However, building a sniping service is not easy and requires a lot of infrastructure and engineering. Fortunately, merkle excels at MEV and scalable infrastructure.

The current sniping market on Ethereum is dominated by BananaGun, a service that has been around for a while and has a lot of users. They are winning because they bundle sniping for all their customers, creating a very strong network effect. Up until today, it has been impossible for other bots to compete.
